And we thought that Joe was born into the great DC blizzard, little did we know the back to back blizzards that were to come! It came at a great time, as Ben was able to spend an extra week at home with Joe before jetting off to Beirut where they will be apart for 6 whole weeks. Daily viewings of these pictures, along with regular video chatting will get him through the time away. In the last few weeks, Joe has started smiling regularly, making lots more noises other than crying, has started sitting up in his bumbo (thanks to his very small head that allows for good neck strength), and even started playing a little soccer!
